Every day for a year, starting on my 29th birthday, I did one thing I'd never done before.
Now, whenever the fancy strikes, for the rest of my life, I will be doing New Things, Things I'm Bad At, and Things That Seem Ridiculous.

I just came across your blog today and this is a really great idea! I am turning 30 in about 2 months and wish I would have done something like this. Very cool!
Hi, Frogger here. I absolutely didn't mean to imply that your blog is boring. I'm having a blast reading it as you go along and even stole some ideas from you. Keep up the fun!
Hi jen,
you rock girl....
Needless to say that "Life is short, keep it interesting" is like the perfect example of your adventurous lifestyle. you became an instant inspiration for some here..keep it going & we wish you a very happy new year & most-memorable birthday ever....
I just read about you in the February cosmo and I think this is an amazng idea!!! Congratulations to you for being so imaginitive and for sticking with it!!!
I read about your adventures in Cosmo a few days ago, and I think it's a wonderful idea! I plan to begin my own as soon as I find enough ideas to last me for a while. Good work, and thanks for the inspiration :)
There is a blog focused on women/girls and body image. You should share on this site - it's an amazing concept. www.thebodyimageproject.blogspot.com
Great blog, I read about it in Cosmo. I am actually doing the same thing you are and was elated to see your article. There's a website called www.Prapta.com where I use their experience list and life list to put together my blog. You should check out the site and share it with your readers if you like it. I'm sure that what you and www.Prapta.com are trying to do will be the next step of our igeneration evolution.

Hi- I love looking at your blog. I don't know if you are planning to write a book about your adventures, but like a previous poster said, all that you write is refreshing. What a fun outlook to life.
Here is one other idea, though you already have probably planned the rest of your new things. But this is a link to a site that makes you a personal "Haiku" (w/poem and picture) to correspond w/something you submit. I think it would be great if you submitted your blog to them and have them come up w/some sort of Haiku to summarize your year of adventure and turning 30!!
Anyway, good luck! And Happy Birthday a little in advance!
Here's the link:

(ps- they did a Haiku for me on Oct. 15, 2007)
You should rip a phone book in half. Wikihow has some instructions on how to do it.
My 28th birthday is in less than 2 weeks. Hope you don't mind, but I'm going to (attempt!) to borrow your idea. Here's one to add: Pay for the person behind you in line; a toll bridge, McDonald's, a car wash...
i really thinks this is so cool and def give u props!
Happy Birthday Jen!!!!!

Your blog is so fun and entertaining. Keep it up!
Also, how do I subscribe to your postings so that they'll show up in the list of blogs I'm following? Is that something you need to activate or something on my end?
You should have an Options setting where you can add feeds. Thanks for reading!
